An Open Letter to Fellow Veterans
We both know the dark side brought on by our military service. We also know how hard it is for civilians to comprehend the unanticipated repercussions that persist long after we’ve returned home.Saratoga WarHorse was created to address the fallout that can occur. Our program pairs world-class soldiers with world-class Thoroughbreds. Racehorses are pushed to their absolute limit and when their careers end, finding their way presents challenges very much like those we face when transitioning from military to civilian life. There is plenty of information out there regarding Post Traumatic Stress. What we do helps you to neutralize the effects these stresses present. We’re not here to fix anyone. This isn’t a rehabilitation program, it isn’t therapy, and we’re not out to do charity work. What we’re offering is a once-in-a-lifetime experience that has the ability to get your life back on track again. The impact our connection process has on soldiers is not easily put into words. The experience is definitive and profound, and it will change something in you that will stay with you long after you’ve passed through the Saratoga WarHorse program.
There is no cost to you, your tuition has been paid by your prior service and the generosity of grateful citizens. Any active-duty service members, Guard, Reservist or veterans are welcome.
I would like to ask you to very seriously consider my open invitation to participate, when you are ready, in this private and strictly confidential program. We promise to give you the experience – what you do with it is up to you.
